Straun Health and Wellness believes that providing mentorship opportunities to middle and high school students will provide young people with enriching experiences that can build confidence, increase understanding of various health professions, and unlock doors to bright futures.
Through SHAW’s mentorship program, young people are paired with a medical and allied health professional based on their indicated interest. Mentor-mentee partners typically meet once per month and focus on youth’s academic and professional development.
